*Stress management*

This is my area of expertise, no question. I've leaned heavily on the basic principles of meditation to cope with severe anxiety. Personally, it has helped me overcome PTSD. I would black out from panic attacks.. I now have complete control over my anxiety.

No judgment on medication at all but I am also no longer reliant on benzodiazepines, I am sober and sober minded. I credit my independence and quite frankly my sanity in large part to my dedication to this practice.

The core of mindfulness is aligning your mind with your body through the rhythm of the breath.. Calming the body to allow the mind to follow.

Mindfulness is about being present in the moment, grounding yourself and separating you from your trauma/anxiety. YOU are the one in control.

*Helps improve sleep*
Becoming skilled in meditation can help you redirect the racing thoughts that often lead to insomnia.

-Studies in people with age-related memory loss have shown it improves performance on neuropsychological tests

-A meta-analysis of 12 studies enrolling nearly 1000 participants found that meditation helped reduce blood pressure.

-A review of 38 studies concluded that mindfulness meditation can reduce pain and improve quality of life for people with chronic pain

Mind over matter at a physiological level.
